After inserting the modem through a port, the connection box shows that there is no device. What can I do?

All the No Device errors are caused by the device's installation. Access Device manager (Start > Run > devmgmt.msc). Right click the device and select Update Driver. Point the installer to where the INF files for the modem are located. After the modem has been detected and installed, reboot the computer. Re-plug the modem and start the Connection manager. If you keep receiving the same error, re-install the software (drivers included!) and then use the Connection manager. It doesn't matter the way you approach this problem, one of the methods should work. Of course, there is a possibility the drivers are not developed to be compatible with your operating system, but the manual installation should bypass this limitation.
